Recovery Grant Volunteer

In the wake of the March 31 tornado, individuals and families throughout Little Rock are working to recover and rebuild. The Heart of Arkansas United Way has been chosen to distribute funds received by the City of Little Rock in response to the March 31 tornado. This long-term recovery grant process seeks to identify Little Rock residents who have unmet needs associated with the tornado that are creating barriers to resuming a normal life.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in reviewing grant applications from individuals and families affected by the March 31 tornado and make recommendations for funding disbursements. The Disaster Recovery Grant committee will be comprised of multiple sub-committees who will review funding requests and ensure resources are invested as efficiently, transparently, and equitably as possible.

Join us! Apply now to join the Recovery Grant Committee. For more information, contact Lynn Pharr at lynnpharr@heartaruw.org or 501.435.3194.
